Georgie is the less confident of the two, particularly around dogs, but once you’re in her circle of trust she is incredibly affectionate. She’s bouncy, sweet and very much a velcro dog who loves being close to her people. She’s now much more confident with people and, when unsure of people or dogs, would generally prefer to avoid them.

She’s a high-drive, high-stamina girl with plenty of that busy Collie brain, so an active lifestyle and appropriate outlets are essential. She’s highly motivated by food, play and work, which makes her great fun to train.

We’ve worked hard on teaching Georgie how to switch off and settle at home, and this will need to continue. We’re also working on boundaries around people and polishing her recall, which is already pretty good when she’s motivated.

Georgie’s ideal home:

• Calm, consistent and active

• Willing to continue her training and confidence building

• Able to provide plenty of mental and physical enrichment

• Understanding that she may need space around unfamiliar dogs

• Happy to give her structure as well as plenty of affection
  
  Georgie needs a calm, consistent and active home that will continue building her confidence while giving her the exercise, training and downtime she needs. Once she trusts you, you’ll find an exceptionally affectionate girl who just loves being with her people. Georgie’s training needs to be continued. She is currently located in Norwich.
