What does fostering a dog entail?
Fostering is one of the most rewarding ways you can help a dog in need. By opening your home, you’re giving a dog a safe, stable environment while they wait for their forever family. Every foster placement is different and we’ll always aim to match the right dog with the right foster home.
Some of our dogs simply need a loving home, routine and guidance to help them become well mannered, confident companions. Others may have behavioural challenges and require experienced handlers, trainers or people confident in working through training plans and rehabilitation.
We also care for dogs with medical needs. These can range from administering medication to more specialised care, such as tube feeding or managing ongoing health conditions. If you have experience with medical cases, we’d love to hear from you.
No matter your level of experience, we encourage you to apply. Whether you’re an experienced trainer, have veterinary or medical knowledge, or you’re simply able to offer a calm, caring home to a dog who needs a chance, there is likely a dog who needs a chance, there is likely a foster placement suited to you. Our team will work with you to find the right match and provide support throughout the foster journey.

What we provide?
We don’t want our foster carers to be out of pocket, so we cover:
All veterinary costs.
Food and any essential supplies needed for the dog.
Any agreed expenses relating to the dog’s care.
Some fosters carers choose to contribute towards their foster dog’s care, but this is entirely optional and never expected. The greatest contribution you can make is providing a safe, loving home and helping a dog on their journey to finding a forever family.
