LOKI’S HOME REQUIREMENTS

Loki spent the first two years of his life being left in a garden, so understandably, trust doesn’t come instantly for him. He needs someone willing to give him time, patience and space to build a relationship at his own pace.

Once Loki trusts you, his personality completely shines through. He is the funniest little soul who loves hard, means well and has so much love to give.

Loki absolutely loves his walks, water and anything involving a ball. He would thrive with someone who enjoys getting outdoors and giving him plenty of enrichment.

Loki has previously lived around cats and has proven to be okay with them, although a home where he can have his people to himself would be ideal.

We would prefer Loki to be the only dog. He can have difficulties around possession with other dogs and has shown aggression towards certain intact male dogs. We would only consider a multi-dog home with someone highly experienced who understands and can confidently manage these dynamics.

Loki has never shown aggression towards people, but he does need his personal space and boundaries respected, particularly when settling into a new environment.

Due to a previous incident involving a young child getting into Loki’s space while he was resting, we would ideally like an adult-only home. Older children may be considered if they are genuinely dog savvy, calm around dogs and fully understand the importance of respecting his space and boundaries.

Loki hasn’t had the easiest start, but in the right home he is an incredibly funny, loving and rewarding little dog.

He needs someone willing to understand him, earn his trust and finally give him the security and stability he deserves.
