UK Dog Rescue & Welfare Charity
Saving Dogs. Improving Standards. Supporting Owners.
Canine Welfare Fund is a registered UK charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming dogs in need. We take on dogs with serious behavioural challenges that many other rescues are unable to accept, as well as dogs and puppies with complex medical needs, including cleft palates. We provide specialist care, rehabilitation and support to give these dogs the best possible chance of a safe and loving future.
Specialist Rescue & Rehabilitation
Every dog is assessed as an individual. We provide the time, specialist care and rehabilitation they need, whether they are struggling with complex behavioural challenges, medical conditions or both. We work patiently with each dog to build confidence, improve wellbeing and wherever possible, prepare them for a safe and suitable permanent home.
Improving Standards
Our work goes beyond rescue. We are committed to improving canine welfare through responsible rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming. While promoting better understanding of dogs with behavioural, medical and additional needs. We believe every dog deserves to be treated as an individual and given the opportunity to thrive.
Supporting Owners
We understand that owners can sometimes find themselves struggling with their dogs behaviour, care or changing circumstances. Where possible, we provide guidance and support, including help accessing professional training and behavioural services, with the aim of keeping dogs safely with the people who love them and preventing unnecessary relinquishment.
Together, we are building a more compassionate, responsible and supportive future for dogs and the people who care for them.
